El proyecto PHOSTER tiene como objetivo desarrollar una solución sostenible de economía circular para la recuperación de minerales y metales secundarios a partir de flujos de residuos (cenizas de lodos de depuradora) y subproductos (industria minera) con el fin de sustituir materias primas críticas primarias (roca fosfórica, fósforo, magnesio) en la fabricación de fertilizantes.

The key objective of this project is to develop a technology to remove phosphates from waste water through a by-product from the magnesite production industry and to implement this technology in a WWTP in order to improve the quality of the water.

The key objective of this project is to demonstrate the viability of a “zero effluent” wet desulphurisation technology for calcination kilns, using MgO based reagents, following a procedure which valorises the effluents produced, so that there is no risk of the effluents contaminating the water or causing other environmental problems.
