We are launching a video showing the great natural wealth in terms of biodiversity that, harmoniously with our activity, coexists in our mining operation in Eugi and in our factory in Zubiri. The video features up to 20 different species of fauna, sharing the surroundings both in #Zubiri factory and #Eugi mine. We are proud to preserve the ecosystem for species such as the) ‘rana temporaria’, newts, white-backed woodpecker, endangered Pyrenean desman (Galemys pyrenaicus)… We would like to invite to enjoy the beauty of nature and the rich variety of flora and fauna and to join our preservation efforts.
In MAGNA we are very aware of the great natural wealth of our environment, consequently, we take the lead in terms of restoration of mining sites within the industry. Our main aim is biodiversity, a key commitment of our Sustainability Plan #SharingtheFUTURE. To achieve this goal, in 2018 we started to coordinate a large team of relevant environmental specialists, and launched the Biodiversity Improvement Plan within our sustainability roadmap.
